Chisholm Park Family Aquatic Center

The City of Hurst utilized Dunaway to evaluate the existing facilities at Chisholm Park for the development of the Chisholm Park Family Aquatic Center. Our team provided aquatic programming and conceptual development for a new $7 million family aquatic center to replace the existing pool. Dunaway led a multi-disciplinary team to design this unique aquatic facility with four distinct pools:

  • A family beach with an aquatic play structure
  • A tot pool
  • A 400-foot-long lazy river
  • A deep water diving pool

Additional play features include a 30-foot water slide tower with family water slides and a large playground. Mature trees frame the facility and provide shaded picnicking areas for families, while a variety of pavilions and fabric structures accommodate groups of any size.
