Heritage Park – Euless, Texas

Historic Heritage Park is the focal point for history preservation in the City of Euless. Buildings of historical significance have been relocated here for preservation and education. These include the Fuller House (the first brick house in Euless), the Himes Log House (one of the oldest structures in the Dallas/Fort Worth area), and the McCormick Barn (made of lumber from Camp Bowie). In addition, a Blacksmith shop was constructed and is used for demonstrations during special events such as Heritage Park Christmas. 

Located next to the park, the Euless Heritage Museum hosts artifacts of historical interest and is open for public tours from 12 – 4 p.m. on the second Saturday of every month.

In this 4-acre park, you can also find a playground and a quarter-mile walking trail.

The park features several historic buildings, including The Fuller House, Himes Log Cabin, and The McCormick Barn. Visitors can take a tour of the park to learn about the city’s rich history and see some of the unique buildings that have been preserved from the early days of settlement. The park also offers a variety of recreational activities, making it a great place to spend a day with family or friends. Euless Heritage Park is a beautiful city park that offers a variety of amenities for visitors to enjoy. The park features walking trails, picnic areas, and a small playground. It’s a great place to come if you want to have a picnic lunch, take the kids to the playground, or just take a stroll on the walking trails. The park also contains several historic buildings, including The Fuller House, Himes Log Cabin, and The McCormick Barn. These buildings are open for tours during regular museum hours.  

One thing to note about the park is that there are no restrooms or pavilions, and the park contains older equipment, so keep an eye out for your children if they like to explore. 

A visit to this playground could turn into a mini field trip for your family. It is located next to the Euless Heritage Museum, the historic Fuller House, Himes Log Cabin, and McCormick Barn. The Fuller House is open to the public on the second Saturday of each month from 1–5 p.m.
