School-aged residents of Lake Highlands are served by White Rock Elementary, Skyview Elementary, Moss Haven, Lake Highlands, Elementary, Forestridge Elementary, Hamilton Park Pacesetter Elementary, and Akin Elementary, among others. Liberty Junior High, Lake Highlands Junior High, and Forest Meadow Junior High serve the tweens in the community and high school students attend Lake Highlands Freshman Center before moving on to Lake Highlands High School.
