Lynn Creek Park on Joe Pool Lake is a day park with boat ramps, group picnic sites, beaches, volleyball, playground, restrooms, full-service marina, natural surface trails, and a driving range on Joe Pool Lake.
Two miles south of I-20, use the Great Southwest Parkway exit. Or from Highway 360 head east on Mildred Walker Parkway.
On the northwest shore of Joe Pool Lake, Lynn Creek Park covers about 784 acres. Park amenities include a new white sand swimming beach, playground, restrooms, showers, two boat ramps with eight lanes, a concession stand, almost 100 picnic sites, group picnic pavilions, and a sand volleyball court.
The swimming area has a sandy beach along with a grassy section with covered picnic tables. Adjacent to the beach/swimming area is a playground, restrooms, changing rooms, and a concession stand.
Lynn Creek Park is a beautiful park operated by the City of Grand Prairie as a day-use-only park. The park is massive at around 784 acres. It is open from March through October (closed November through February). Its daily hours are 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. There is a Grand Prairie police presence in the park. Lynn Creek Park is a first-class facility. All facilities are excellent and well maintained.

Please check with the park directly for all pricing and fees as they change regularly. Picnic areas are along the beach and in shaded tree areas. This is a beautiful park with many things to do including a sandy beach, sand volleyball, pavilions, a huge playground area, and of course the always enjoyable Oasis Restaurant that is right on the water.
Lynn Creek Park is a day-use facility that is open from March through September. The park is managed by the city of Grand Prairie. Lynn Creek is located along the northwest corner of Joe Pool Lake and is accessed from Lake Ridge Parkway. Within the park’s 785 acres you can find a swimming area with a beach, a playground, a concession stand, two boat ramps, group and single-use picnic sites, and a sand volleyball court.
Lynn Creek Park annually hosts the holiday light display “Prairie Lights.” The event begins after Thanksgiving and runs through New Year’s Eve.
For a taste of the outdoors in Grand Prairie, head to Lynn Creek Park which is located on the stunning Joe Pool Lake. Here you will find boat ramps so that you can go boating on the lake, as well as picnic grounds, beach areas, and volleyball courts.
There are also nature trails that bisect the park so that you can walk around and take in the beauty of the local area, and if you head to the Joe Pool Lake area then you will even find a driving range where you can practice your swing.
