A Celebration of Food and Music
The Taste of Irving is an outdoor festival featuring family-friendly activities, live music, and food. This year’s event will give visitors an opportunity to sample a variety of music genres on multiple small stages. The entertainment schedule features jazz, blues, Latin, and more.
As the festival takes on a new format, additions include youth dance performances, children’s performances by the Dallas Black Dance Theatre, and multiple music tents. Returning to the festival is a free children’s fun zone and more than 20 food vendors who will showcase their delicious cuisine.

The main parts of the complex comprise a 210,000-square-foot food and retail space, which includes the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema movie theater and bowling alley, and the Pavilion, an indoor 4,000-seat music theatre that has a wall that can retract to open onto the 65,000-square-foot lawn to add an additional 4,000 seats. The Pavilion can offer everything from intimate performances for 2,500 spectators to open-air concerts for 8,000.
