Trader’s Village – Grand Prairie, Texas

Known nationally as America’s largest weekend flea marketplace, the original Traders Village opened in Grand Prairie in 1973. Houston’s Traders Village followed in 1989 bringing terrific values and entertainment to the Texas Gulf Coast and San Antonio is now a happy home to Traders Village opened in 2011.

Traders Village opened in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1973. Millions of people have browsed, shopped, and traded within the 160 acres filled with thousands of dealers offering a little bit of everything, all at bargain prices.

Only at Traders Village can you stroll through literally thousands of shops, wheel and deal with the shop owners themselves and get the bargain of a lifetime. From children’s toys to tires, on any given weekend, you can find it at Traders Village.

Since 1973, is an open-air market with rows and rows of shops filled with auto accessories, furniture, toys, clothing, jewelry, and unique finds! Trader’s Village has a great selection of amusement park rides to keep kids happy throughout the day with plenty of seating for mom and dad to relax and enjoy the live music.

Directions

From I-20 take State Highway 360 one exit North to Mayfield Road, turn right (East) and go approximately 1/4 mile. Traders Village is on the left. Or from I-20 take Great Southwest Parkway one mile North to Mayfield Road and turn left (West) and go approximately 1,000 feet. Traders Village is on the right. Conveniently located next to the Grand Prairie Municipal Airport.

From I-30 take State Highway 360, go south for five miles turn east on Mayfield Road, and follow signs. Conveniently located next to the Grand Prairie Municipal Airport.

Traders Village is better known by its nickname, ‘The Famous Texas Flea Market’, which tells you everything you need to know about what is on sale here. Pretty much whatever you are looking for, you will have a good chance of finding, particularly as there are over 3,500 sellers here.

The markets span more than 160 acres of land, and as well as stalls selling anything and everything, you will also find rides, arcade games, and food stalls.

Shop from over 3,000 vendors in an open-air market at Traders Village. Buy an all-day ride wristband for only $13.99. Admission is free, and parking is only $5.00. The best shopping hours are 9 AM-6 PM, and rides and most food stands open at 11 AM. 

Their best-kept secret has to be their food; from state fair favorites, authentic street tacos, and Thai, you’re in for a world culinary tour! Or head over to Gary’s Grill for the classics, then enjoy dessert at their funnel cake stand.
