Whites Branch Park – Haltom City, Texas
Located at 5290 Western Center Blvd., Whites Branch Park is a 20-acre park that features two playgrounds, a water playground, and a picnic pavilion.
Whites Branch Park in Haltom City is an ideal spot for travelers looking to spend a day outdoors with the kids. Located in the center of the city and consisting of walking trails, this park is good for joggers and walkers. A splash ground and a playground area with different games and activities make this place highly popular among kids and parents.
There is plenty of space for kids to play in the park and wooden benches for elders to sit on. It is a very nice and peaceful garden tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, thus making it perfect for people looking to relax.
The spray ground utilizes a recycling water system that is also used for irrigation of the park grounds. A hike/bike trail will connect to Watauga and Fort Worth to the north. The trail connects with Buffalo Ridge Park to the south. The spray ground operates between the weekends of Memorial Day and Labor Day.
This park is suitable for walking, and family activities. In addition to its natural scenery, this park also has playgrounds, drinking water, parking lots, and restrooms. This park is wheelchair accessible according to the Pacer community.

This Park has a totally accessible playground. It has shaded play structures, swings, and slides. You can spend the day, have a picnic, and let the kids burn some energy. Great park for kids of all ages. They have a toddler area with swings and a xylophone. Great splash pad with plenty of seating for adults. Lots of shade trees, and picnic areas (tables and grass), with a paved walking trail.
Great place to take the kids and spend the day. This park has much potential. It’s a pleasant enough park and very conveniently located, just west of 377. It has a shaded area for families to enjoy, with playground picnic tables and a good amount of parking spots.
It has a lengthy trail with lots of shade, but alas it’s not too well kept up. Splash pads are closed once a week (when they are open) for maintenance to disinfect the surfacing. Water goes down the sewer and we do not recycle it back onto the splashpads. It is fresh, potable water from our City’s water system.
