Lake Park – Lewisville, Texas
Lake Park, located at 600 Sandy Beach Road, is over 662 acres. The Park is located along Lake Lewisville shoreline just east of Mill Street; approximately three-quarters of a mile east of I-35.
Lake Park is operated by the City on property leased from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It is divided into four major areas including the golf course, the athletic facilities, day-use areas, and a marina. The lake-related uses include campgrounds, beaches, docks, boat ramps & picnic facilities, and attract many people from all over the region. The Lewisville Parks & Recreation Department is in the process of creating a master plan for Lake Park.
Lake Park on Lake Lewisville is a massive park where you can find playgrounds, plenty of restrooms, and an 18-hole golf course. There is also an 18-hole disc (frisbee) golf course, a lighted nine-hole par three golf course, and a fishing barge. Both tent camping and RV camping are available.
There are also two boat ramps located within Lake Park. The park contains many trees, covered picnic tables, and swim areas.
